Clive Wright – Director, Sales & Design

Having started the company 18 years ago, I am immensely proud of its achievements. Strong design, original ideas and attention to detail continue to be our focus and underlying strengths. My wife and I's decision to bring in our new business partner and MD who has invested in the business and brought new management skills was, apart from asking Jo to marry me and having three wonderful kids, the best decision I ever made.

Since studying for a degree in Fine Art, I have never done anything else but furniture. Our designs and cabinetry have continued to diversify with the focus on bespoke furniture. The design team have a wealth of experience across all areas of interior furnishing and design. It’s a diverse business with many very skilled employees and I doubt there's one to match it! As you view the many projects in our portfolio, I hope you are inspired by our ideas and furniture, and commission us to do the same for you one day.

Chris Atkinson – Senior Designer

I joined Clarity Arts in 2003, after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a BA Honours degree in Product Design.
My enthusiasm and passion for strong design and an appreciation for architecture are attributes which I hope shine through in many of the projects that you will see in our portfolio.

One of the most satisfying parts of my job is the ability to walk from the design studio into our factory and see my clients’ drawings being brought to life by our cabinet makers and production team. This is something I doubt I will ever tire of.

In my spare time, I love getting out on my mountain bike and enjoying the ups and downs of Formula 1 racing.

Sarah McIntosh - Designer

I achieved my BA Honours in Interior Design whilst working at Clarity Arts in 2008 and haven’t looked back since. I began my design career working alongside Clive Wright as his Design Assistant, taking part in many creative, exciting and inspirational commissions. With the experience and knowledge gained, I now take the lead in many design projects.

I am proud to have been involved in so many wonderful commissions and remain committed to our Design philosophy of -

I take great pride and joy in being involved in a project; seeing it being transformed from a concept and vision to actually being lived in and enjoyed by our customers. It’s the best part of my job. I look forward to meeting many new customers in the future who I can share my passion and ideas with.
